Fabric is the first thing you will choose for a tailor made suit and why it is not in case of ready to wear suit. Wool suit is ultimately preferable as it is 100 percent natural, breathes well and is also extremely stylish. Also there are some other fabrics that you can consider.
Every person should own at least one suit as it is the formal portion for every persons wardrobe. Hand tailored suit would be the ultimate solution as it fits perfectly, but it is not possible in all situations and at the same time buying a ready to wear suit is not a bad thing. Prices are reasonable and you can choose from the up to date fashions. But all the suits are not good in their fabrics, quality and fit. | Linen for suit :- |

| Linen is usually used for summer suits as it is of light weight as well as stylish. Linen has some disadvantages as it wrinkles easily, stains easily, not practical for traveling and it severely increases the cleaning bills. |

| Polyester for suit :- |

| If you choose to buy a suit at cheaper rates then polyester will be your acceptable choice. It doesn’t wrinkles and unfortunately doesn’t breathes well either. |

| Micro fibers for suit :- |

| Micro fibers are washable, breathable and are water repellent. Many low cost suits are made of micro fibers |

| Spandex for suit :- |

| Small portion of Spandex or Lycra will give your suits an extensive stretch factor. |

| Tweeds are generally worn by older gentlemen. They are heavy, warm and mostly useful in winter seasons. Not preferable for over weight persons. |

| Flannel for suit :- |

| Flannel is known to be especially nice in charcoal gray color with pinstripes. It is very durable for day to day wearing but it is not an ideal fabric for a first suit. |

| Tropical for suit :- |

| Many summer suits are made of tropical fabrics since its light weight material but it is not wrinkle free. It requires frequent dry cleaning and is not ideal for first suit. |

| Worsted wool for suit :- |

Worsted wool is an ideal fabric for your first suit and it can be worn year round. It has an extensive durability and depending on the weave, worsted wool can be lighter or heavier.
Always remember that the price of a suit depends on the quality of the fabric. A suit made of 60-80 twists will obviously be cheaper than the suit made of 100 or super 110. A high twist 100 or super 110 means the suit is made of the worsted wool yarn that has been twisted more often than the usual 60 to 80 twist fabrics. Super 120 is one of the most expensive fabrics that are used commonly in present days. |
